Pepperl+Fuchs offers a wide range of single-turn and multi-turn absolute rotary encoders.

Single-turn absolute encoders. One rotation of the encoder (360°) is divided into a maximum of 65536 measurement steps (16 bits). After each full revolution, the encoding process starts from the initial value, while the encoder electronics do not recognize the number of revolutions.

Multi-turn absolute encoders. Encoders of this type, in addition to the code disk of a single-turn encoder, contain a set of gears encoded for counting 16384 revolutions (14 bits). These encoders are the optimal solution for dividing large distances into small measurement steps.
